Dave Skinner lives in Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada with his artist wife (Laurie O’Reilly), in a house they built themselves, after he retired, at 60, from a career in I.T.
He has self-published six fantasy novels, three in the Warriors, Heroes, and Demons series, and two in a series called Wizard’s Spawn, plus a stand-alone novel called Ta’Lee: In Search of a Queen.
Two short stories, Of thieves and wizards, and Of Mouse, Man, and Monster received honourable mentions from Buzz and Roar Publishing and Writers of the Future contests respectively. Those stories and two others about a thief who wants to be a wizard are featured in a free eBook called the Ofnibus Stories available from Kobo,  and Obooko.
